As you may know, we have some new developments in the City of Tempe parking lot shared with us. On Sept 9th the city will be removing signs in preparation of this construction. The lot is owned by the city and they are excited for the new housing and parking garage to be erected!
Attached are two maps, one for the flow in our parking lot effective Sept 12, and the alternative parking for families and students in the lot just east of Dorsey on Apache. The pedestrian gate on Apache is open for students to have a straight shot from the parking lot to campus. As you can see, the only entrance will be from Dorsey and the only exit is through the Apache Blvd exit. The flow is one lane so you will not be able to pass cars, please plan with your students the pick up and drop off so you may not have to wait for extended times. No vehicles may park up against the fence or any areas with the red curb/fire lane. The drop off and pick up will be designated with cones and signs, essentially behind our handicapped and the Executive Dean space. Students for both schools will be able to access campus from the gate behind the main building. There will be 2-3 visitor parking spaces for early pick up of your student.
We will have an adult at the gate during these times, parents need to prepare to remain in the line and drop off or pick up, it is only one lane.
Drop off times:
7:30-7:50 for zero hour HS students,
8-8:30 for MS students,
8:30-8:50 for HS students
Pickup times:
12 for 1/2 day HS students,
2:15-2:30 for 3/4 days for HS students,
